Taiko Meantime
is looking for a few special people.
To
be a performer in Taiko Meantime requires single-minded determination,
lots of your time and self motivation.
As
well as drummers, we need talented flute players, or better still,
players of the Japanese 'yoko-bue'.

Can
you make Wednesday evening every week from 18:30 to 21:45 to
practise at our venue in Greenwich?
Are
you willing to load and unload drums at very unsociable hours?
Can
you take time off work, if nessessary, to do performances on
weekdays and weekends?
Are
you organised and dedicated enough to commit to performance
dates months in advance?
Do
you have web and email access at least once a day?
YOUR
AMBITIONS
Is
your aim to perform a high standard of Taiko with a professional-standard
group?
YOUR
CHARACTER
Are
you a strong individual, but happy to work in a team, on and
off stage?
Have
you got the discipline, time and initiative to practise by yourself
between group practices?
Do
you pay attention to detail - musical and physical?
Are
you a reliable and clear communicator?
Can
you take constructive criticism without feeling insulted?
Can
you think on your feet and be flexible with changing rhythms
and circumstances when under pressure?
