Taiko Summer School for adults
27th to 30th July 2010, Farnham, Surrey
We are very pleased to announce this year's Taiko Summer School will take place once again in the beautiful countryside of Farnham, Surrey. This intensive four-day course is for anyone who has attended any of our courses or workshops in the past. The aims of the course will be to:
- PRACTICE: Reinforce basic Taiko technique
- STRENGTHEN: exercises to help your playing and overall fitness
- "BE THE RHYTHM": increase fluency with the relationship between music and movement
- PERFORM: work towards a public performance by the end of the week
You'll learn a variety of Taiko techniques, get fit, analyse your performance on video, and get to perform in a mini public concert!

Cost: Approx £250
Location: Frensham Heights School, Rowledge, Farnham, Surrey GU10 4EA.
Accommodation: Optional on-site accomodation in vacant student halls at Frensham Heights, just 1 min walk from the workshop venue. Approx £35 per night including 3 hearty meals per day!
